Beckenham’s Night of Honour nominations close next week

Nominations for Beckenham’s Night of Honour which celebrates people who are working tirelessly to make the town “a great community to live and work in” close on Saturday, September 1.

The red-carpet event takes place on October 14 and is attended by community leaders including the mayor of Bromley, headteachers and the borough commander.

Ten of Beckenham’s finest residents will receive awards on the night, all of whom are nominated by the public.

The awards include Beckenham’s Child of the Year, Beckenham’s Best Sports Star and Beckenham’s Best School Worker.
