PizzaExpress is celebrating the launch of its new-look restaurant in Beckenham.

Situated in the High Street, the restaurant has been transformed, taking its inspiration from the area’s links with the film industry.

Film producers, such as Betty and Sydney Box, lived in Beckenham and the restaurant is next door to a cinema with a rich history dating back many years.

The restaurant artwork features 60s movie posters for classics such as Barbarella, Vertigo and The Time Machine.

Manager Gemma Cato said: “We have a friendly and enthusiastic team who are looking forward to welcoming everyone to our beautiful restaurant over a delicious pizza.”
