Beckenham MP Bob Stewart joined blind veterans at a tea party in aid of charity Blind Veterans UK at the House of Commons last week.

Colonel Bob is urging residents to support Tarts for Troops, a campaign aiming to raise funds for visually impaired ex-servicemen and women, which kicks off on Saturday, June 29 - Armed Forces Day.

The charity asks people to gather together for a bake-off, a tarts and tea party, or a tarts and coffee morning.

The money raised will go towards rehabilitation, training and respite care for those who lost full vision as a result of combat.
