CELEBRITY Big Brother contestant and model Nicola T is urging aspiring models from her hometown to enter a nationwide talent search.

Bromley-born Nicola Tappenden wants more girls locally to take part in a competition for motorbike insurers Bennetts.

The 26-year-old, who grew up in Biggin Hill, said: "Everyone should have a go at entering model search competitions, as you never know when you might get picked up and it opens lots of doors to models.

"I am living proof that these things work, I won this competition six years ago."

Nicola won the first ever Page Three Idol competition in the Sun newspaper in 2002.

More recently she appeared on Channel Four's Celebrity Big Brother, being evicted in sixth place.

Mum-of-one Nicola went to Shirley High School in Croydon but has since moved from the area.

Remembering her time in Bromley, she said: "I still come back from time to time because I still have friends round there and my daughter loves an adventure playground in Beckenham.
