The Boys Brigade Buglers and the Army Cadets Drum Corp performed displays in the High Street to launch the YOU Bromley scheme.
Activities were laid on by the council and police including a climbing wall, vehicle displays and lessons in life-saving skills on Saturday, February 6.
Attending the launch were Mayor of Bromley, Douglas Auld and James Cleverly, London Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley and the Mayor of London's Ambassador for Youth.
Councillor Ernest Noad, Portfolio Holder for Children and Young People, said: "This excellent scheme will provide young people across our borough with the opportunity to benefit from and enjoy the wide range of activities on offer from uniformed youth groups today. As a keen Scout for many years, I would like to express my full support of YOU Bromley."
Sergeant Simone Oram, Bromley Police's Youth Partnership Sergeant, said: "It was fantastic to see all of the uniformed youth organisations together and it makes you realise just how many young people do something constructive with their spare time."
YOU Bromley is a sub-division of YOU London, a partnership youth groups in Greater London that provide opportunities for young people through sport, expeditions education and friendship.
