There will be talks and a chance to learn exercises

People at risk of falls are invited to an awareness event in Bromley this month.

Bromley Osteoporosis Society is organising the event, which will feature talks from an exercise specialist, the secretary of the society and a physiotherapist.

There will then be a workshop where adults can learn exercises to improve their balance, bone health and strength, and have their balance assessed.

Sandra Shaw, from the society, said: “We want to help adults to reduce the risk of a fracture.”

The event will take place on Saturday, June 20 at Bromley United Reformed Church in Widmore Road from 10.30am to 1pm.

Everyone is welcome. Entry is £3 per person.

For more details call Sandra Shaw on 0800 5677136 or 07766 710280.
