A CHEATING boyfriend used a cushion to stifle a teenager's screams as he tried to rape her after befriending her at the Notting Hill Carnival, a court heard on Monday.
Daniel Ross, 26, of Downham Way, Bromley, is accused of launching a sex attack on the 18-year-old just days after meeting her at the annual festival in west London.
The Old Bailey was told that Ross claimed he wanted to have a relationship with the girl as the pair met up on a number of dates after meeting in August last year.
Ross then lured the woman to his partner's home in Turnham Road, Brockley, where he carried out a series of sexual assaults before trying to rape her on September 6, it is claimed.
When she tried to protest Ross threatened to punch her in the face and used a cushion to muffle her cries for help, jurors heard.
Ross denies three counts of assault by penetration and one of attempted rape.
The trial continues.
