Two men arrested on suspicion of murder after Anerley stabbing

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing in Bromley yesterday (Sunday, November 4).

The men - aged 19 and 21 - are currently in custody at a South London Police Station.

Police were called at around 12.30pm on Sunday to a report of a stabbing in Samos Road, Anerley.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

The man, believed to be 22 years old, was found suffering from stab injuries.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene at around 1pm.

Enquiries are being made to establish his identity and to inform his next of kin.

A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

Cordons are in place at the scene, and an urgent investigation is underway.
