CHILDREN enjoyed ice cream in the sun at a charity fun day last Saturday.

More than 1,000 visitors went to the St Christopher's Family Fun Day to take advantage of games and events.

Activities included dancing performances, flag displays and a dray ride pulled by the Young's shire horse, raising more than £14,000 for the caring services for dying people and their families in Bromley and south east London.

St Christopher's Hospice needs £7 million every year to fund their caring services.
