Air show to share its milestone anniversary

AN INTERNATIONAL air fair will mark its 25th anniversary with other organisations celebrating the milestone birthday.

Biggin Hill Air Fair, Harris HospisCare and Virgin Atlantic are all 25 years old this year and celebrations to mark the anniversary are taking place next weekend.

Guests to the air fair at Biggin Hill will be treated to an extravagant air display which will include The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team 'The Red Arrows'.

They will be perform a nine-ship team flypast in V-formation with a Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400.

Other highlights include the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and an aircraft from the Royal Navy Historic flight marking its 100 years of naval aviation.

To mark 25 years of providing care to dying individuals in Bromley Harris HospisCare will host a celebratory lunch in the President's Marquee on Sunday, June 28.

Tickets cost £50 per person and include entry to the Air Fair, parking, morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea - all in the comfort of the private are of the President's Marquee situated in the VIP Hospitality area.

Children under 12 are welcome and a special picnic menu will be available for just £20 each.

Harris HospisCare will also have a stall with games and promotional information at the air fair on both the Saturday and Sunday.
