POLICE have extended the bail of a 34-year-old man arrested following enquiries into the Farnborough air crash for a second time.

The unnamed man, from Sussex, was arrested on April 18 this year on suspicion of perverting the course of justice but officers said it is not directly connected to the fatal accident on March 30.

He has been bailed to return to a south London police station pending further enquiries.

He was due to return on Tuesday but police extended his bail.

They said they expect to invite the man back to the station in the next couple of weeks.

All five people on board perished when their Cessna private jet plummeted into a house in Romsey Close, Farnborough.

The property had to be completely demolished while the house next door had its garage knocked down.
