Abseil for charity?

CHARITY fundraisers are invited to take the plunge to raise money for a hospice. Harris HospisCare, based in Orpington, is hosting a 469ft abseil down the side of Guy s Hospital Tower in London on September 5.

CHARITY fundraisers are invited to take the plunge to raise money for a hospice.

Harris HospisCare, based in Orpington, is hosting a 469ft abseil down the side of Guy's Hospital Tower in London on September 5.

The abseil is the last chance for daredevils to scale down the tower as it is due to close for refurbishment.

To abseil, entry is £25 and participants must raise a minimum of £175 sponsorship money and full training and equipment will be provided on the day by abseil specialists Over the Edge Adventures.
