400 cannabis plants seized from ‘huge’ factory discovered above Beckenham shop

This was the scene that greeted police officers when they raided a house in Beckenham this morning.

Four rooms in the first-floor flat above a shop in High Street had been converted into a “huge” cannabis factory.

An estimated 400 cannabis plants were seized, along with equipment used in the cultivation of the Class B drug.

After being alerted by members of the public, officers executed the search at 8.30am.

No arrests have been made to date. Enquiries continue.
