Southwark Playhouse has just announced its exciting autumn season which will launch on Tuesday 16th September.
This season marks Southwark Playhouse's 15th birthday and Ellie Jones' first production as artistic director. Booking for the season opens on Monday 4th August.
The season opens with Unlimited Theatre's The Ethics of Progress a 60-minute theatrical presentation exploring the actual, imagined, ethical, political, religious and philosophical impacts of leading edge research in Quantum Physics. The Mayhem Company return to Southwark Playhouse with The Butterfly Club and in October, Southwark Playhouse presents the London Premiere of the award winning How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found by Fin Kennedy.
This extraordinary play follows one man's desperate attempts to buck the system.
Company of Angels visits in November with Theatre Café - a showcase of experimental, European drama for young audiences.
At Christmas Poonamallee Productions and Southwark Playhouse present the world premiere of Philip Pullman's The Scarecrow and His Servant adapted & directed by Simon Reade.
