A PHILHARMONIC choir will perform Mendelssohn's Hymn of Praise and Schubert's Deutsche Messe at a concert this Saturday.

The Hayes Philharmonic Choir will also present Spohr's Ode to St Cecilia and Haydn's Insanae et Vanae Curae at St Mark's Church in Bromley from 7.45pm.

Conducted by Rodney Williams, the performance will feature Soprano Margaret Feaviour and Tenor Jonathan Stoughton.

Admission is £8 (concessions £7) and tickets are available from 020 8654 6712 or 07989 192928.

THE Hayes Players present their first ever full-length musical from next Wednesday, December 2, with the family favourite Little Shop of Horrors.

Running at the Hayes Village Hall until Saturday, December 5, the musical by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman tells the story of a nerdy flower shop assistant Seymour who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic but bloodthirsty plant.
