A COMEDY exploring the contradictions of British gay life is at the Oval House Theatre, Kennington, from March 28.

After its first airing at Oval House Theatre as a work-in-progress, Michael Twaits developed Confessions of a Dancewhore with mentor Bette Bourne, renowned veteran of gay theatre and founder of the infamous British vaudeville drag troupe Bloolips.

Now it returns to run until May 3. Tickets are £12 (£6 concessions) and are available at the box office at the theatre on 020 7582 7680 or online at www.ovalhouse.com.

CHOREOGRAPHER Henri Oguike and a company of seven dancers perform Mixed Bill at Hextable Dance tomorrow (Friday).

The show comprises four contrasting and musically diverse dance pieces using diverse musical genres from baroque to contemporary.
