IN the wake of National Curry Week, Woodville Halls invites you to enjoy a night of comedy combined with Britain's favourite cuisine.
For one night only, some of the top comedians on the circuit will tickle your funny bones as you enjoy a sumptuous sub-continent feast at the venue in Gravesend.
Funnymen such as Matthew Osborn, Paul Pirie and comedy duo Brian Damage and Krysstal are due to appear tonight from 7.30pm.
Matthew Osborn is flying high after being named English Comedian of the Year 2009, and brings an outrageously patronising and smug persona to the stage. His act mixes politically incorrect gags, quirky surrealism and disarming self-deprecation.
He is joined by Paul Pirie, runner-up in the Scottish Comedian of the Year awards 2006. Pirie is best known for his appearances at the Glasgow Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe, but in recent years has begun to venture south of the border with great success.
Brian Damage and Krysstal are also Edinburgh festival regulars, and bring quite a different act. Relying largely on musical numbers, the dead-pan Brian and his ditzy assistant Krysstal play a range of musical instruments, covering styles as varied as Spanish dancing and folk numbers.
Tickets cost £35 and are available on the door or by calling 01474 337 774.
