TWENTY-FIVE young dancers have been awarded for their commitment to getting in shape.
Young people from the Swanley area who are part of EZ Stepz dance group were due to be given medals and certificates by Sevenoaks District Council chairman John Lankester
The dance programme, which has been running for nearly four years, is aimed at eight to 15-year-olds.
It teaches modern choreographed street dance as a fun and healthy way to exercise and meet new people.
Members of the group recently passed an exam which was designed to show a panel of judges what they have learned during their time with the EZ Stepz dance classes and the medals and certificates were due in recognition of passing.
Pat Bosley, Sevenoaks District Council's cabinet member for community development, said: "This celebration night is a great way for the young people to be acknowledged and rewarded for all the hard work they have put into this programme."
The classes are organised by Sevenoaks District Council in partnership with Sencio Community Leisure and are funded by NHS West Kent as part of the National Choosing Health agenda.
