Actor lives to play the part

OLIVIER Award-winner David Bradley, best known for his portrayal as Argus Filch in the Harry Potter movies, is playing The Actor, in a new one-man black comedy.

OLIVIER Award-winner David Bradley, best known for his portrayal as Argus Filch in the Harry Potter movies, is playing The Actor, in a new one-man black comedy.

The Quiz, at the Trafalgar Studios, London until July 5, sees an actor aiming to give the Ultimate Performance - it was always his dream to die on stage like Kean Irving and Tommy Cooper.

Maybe tonight is the night he is going to transcend the text and make the ultimate leap.

This exciting new play, written by former dramatist for the National Theatre Richard Crane and directed by David Giles, formally of the Hammersmith Lyric.

Performances are at 7.45pm every night with matinees at 3pm on Thursday and Saturday.
