A week of events starts on October 21
Bromley town centre is getting ready for a spooky half term as October 31 approaches.
From October 21, a week-long trick or treat trail running around the town will give youngsters the chance to win a Halloween treat by spotting 10 skulls hidden in the window displays of 25 shops.
On Saturday, October 28, a Day of the Dead celebration will arrive in the Market Square, with little terrors invited to book pumpkin painting or the chance to watch professionals carve pumpkins during the day, before taking selfies and being entertained by a Mariachi band.
The space will transform as darkness sets in, with older visitors invited to a Mexican Day of the Dead celebration where entertainment will include a performance from the Voodoo Love Orchestra, fire performers, a human table, live street art and face painting for grown-ups.
Frances Forest, Your Bromley manager, commented “Halloween can be great fun for all the family and we wanted to recognise this by providing entertainment that everyone could enjoy.
“We have worked hard to put together a programme of events that new and existing visitors to the area can enjoy and we hope to create a real party atmosphere in the town centre to mark the occasion.”
