The market will have a Christmas theme for its launch

Beckenham’s Bake Off success, Jane Beedle, will be opening the first Beckenham Market.

The Great British Bake Off finalist, will be cutting the ribbon to open the market, alongside the Mayor of Bromley, Cllr. Ian F Payne.

The new market will have a Christmas theme for its launch and will feature handpicked stalls of handmade Christmas crafts, clothes and more, including a street food and produce from around the globe.

As well as local produce and crafts, there will be workshops, a graffiti wall, music from DJ Bob Bird and live acts. A Santa’s Grotto is being provided with gifts, face painting, and reindeer food.

The market takes place at Venue 28 and will open on November 27.

Entry to the market is £3 per adult, with children free. The entry fee also includes the chance to win a prize donated by Ms Beedle.
