Robbie Williams was hit by a car in London yesterday – but there was no need to summon the emergency services.
The Take That star was not hurt, as the stunt was all in the name of art.
He was filming a video in the capital city, wearing an eye-catching pink suit.
The collision with the vehicle was part of the story. No real motorist would miss the garish outfit, surely.
But expectant dad Robbie will have the chance to brush up on UK road laws, if rumours are true.
He and wife Ayda Field are reportedly set to quit America and return to Britain.
“Robbie has always planned for his baby to be born in Britain, it’s really important to him. He moved to America to enjoy the lifestyle, anonymity and climate but his heart still belongs in the UK,” a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper.
“He wants his parents around during their grandchild’s early months and can’t wait to enjoy a proper family Christmas.”
The couple are renting a place while they look for a permanent base/
Robbie decided he wanted to return to Britain after reforming and touring the country with Take That.
The source added: “Touring with Take That and soaking up the fans’ reaction gave him a hunger to perform again.
“He’s like a kid in a toy shop at the moment. He has one of the most exciting years of his life ahead of him and can’t wait.”
The Rocky Horror Show will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a year-long UK tour that stops in Bromley next month.
