YOUNGSTERS were presented with Duke of Edinburgh Awards at a special ceremony to acknowledge their achievements.

Bromley mayor, Pauline Tunnicliffe, handed 160 youngsters bronze, silver and gold awards at a ceremony at the Civic Centre on Monday, March 10. The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme began in 1956 and now operates in 53 countries around the world. It offers young people of all abilities the opportunity to learn a skill, contribute to their community.
