Woman, 64, dies after being hit by Mottingham bus

A 64-year-old woman died yesterday after she was struck by a bus as she got out of her car in Dunkery Road, Mottingham.
She was hit by the number 124 bus at around 10.20am and was taken to King’s College Hospital, in Camberwell, where doctors pronounced her dead shortly after arriving.
Dunkery Road and nearby Court Farm Road were both closed until 3.30pm.
No arrests have been made and the Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the incident.
