They want to hear from anyone who may have seen a collision between a cyclist and an articulated lorry at the junction of London Road and Tweedy Road in Bromley.

The 57-year-old cyclist and an unidentified green articulated lorry were in collision as they were both turning right into London Road from the traffic lights in Tweedy Road. The cyclist was knocked from his cycle into the carriageway at about 8.20am on Friday January 13.

A police spokesman said: “It’s likely that the driver is unaware of the incident. However police would like to identify this driver.”

A local business man has come forward with CCTV which shows a dark coloured 4 x 4 following the lorry through the traffic lights and police would like to hear from this driver.

Anyone with any information should contact the Metropolitan Police Service Traffic Serious Casework Unit on 020 7230 1756.
