Harry Styles, dogs and cakes. The internet is already going wild for the former One Direction star’s new music video.

But without realising, more than 14million viewers have seen a taste of Bromley, with the ammunition for a foodfight depicted in Styles’ new video, Kiwi, all baked in the borough.

At the start of the month, David Groves, founder of The Doggy Bakery, which specialises in eye-catching treats suitable for all dogs, received an urgent call from a production company demanding his services.

He said: “It’s a little unusual to take a phone call late in the morning asking for delivery by mid-afternoon, but we are always happy for a challenge and always aim to please.

“We were just told that the order was a production company for use in a music video shoot that they were filming that afternoon. We understand deadlines and got to work, delivering them to the studio on time.”

It was only after they made the delivery that The Doggy Bakery were told that the canine cakes were for use in the pop superstar’s new video, which has been viewed more than 14million times since it was uploaded on November 8.

Mr Groves added: “It’s great that the cakes we supplied went down so well and we are delighted to be able to watch the video knowing we contributed in our own way.”
