Two more charged over Penge murder as four youths to appear in court today

Michael Jonas was stabbed to death in Betts Park on November 2

Detectives investigating the murder of Michael Jonas have charged two more youths.

The 17-year-old was stabbed to death in Betts Park at around 7.20pm on November 2, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Last week police charged two youths, aged 16 and 17, with murder both of whom appeared before magistrates on Thursday.

Both will now appear at Central Criminal Court today.

On Friday, Met Police announced two more teenagers, aged 14 and 17 had both been charged with Michael’s murder.

Both will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, November 13).
