Three males, aged between 16 and 18, have been arrested after a teenage boy was stabbed to death just outside Bromley in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
Police were called to Launcelot Road, Lewisham at around 4am where they, along with the London Ambulance Service, discovered a male had been stabbed in the chest.
He died just over an hour later at 5.11am. Next of kin have been informed and a formal identification has yet to take place.
Police say they are retaining an open mind with regard to a motive at this early stage and are appealing for witnesses or those with information to come forward.
Anyone wishing to do so should call 020 8721 4868, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Beckenham MP Bob Stewart has called for a change to the Human Rights Act following the murder of a soldier in Woolwich yesterday, allowing Britain to deport those who vocally denounce the country.
