The 17-year-old was stabbed to death a week ago

Two teenage boys will appear before magistrates today charged with the murder of Michael Jonas.

Police found the 17-year-old suffering multiple stab wounds at around 7.20pm in Betts Park on Thursday, November 2.

Despite the best efforts of police and paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, Michael was pronounced dead just after 8.15pm.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as stab wounds to the chest and haemorrhage.

Today (Thursday), two youths, aged 17 and 16, will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court charged with his murder.
