PUPILS performed at a theatrical extravaganza in the Royal Albert Hall to mark their school's 125th anniversary.

Girls from Bromley High, in Blackbook Lane, took part in the show last Wednesday. The programme included theatre, dance and singing.

Headteacher Lorna Duggleby said: "This has been an incredible journey, lasting nearly a year. With the exception of the debenture seats, the show was a sell-out.

"It was a real challenge for girls and staff performing in such an auspicious venue but a great deal was learnt from the experience and the team spirit it fostered was incredible.

Student Anna Platoni, 18, who played in the orchestra, said: "It is a really good experience to play to such a large audience. The Royal Albert Hall is a really prestigious venue.
