On Thursday December 7, a 49 year old man was sat at a table with two women at a pub in High Street, Bromley, when they were approached by a man who started talking to them before punching the man in the face, causing a cut above his eye and bruising.

A second man threw a drink at the victim.

Police were called to the incident at 20.20pm.

Both men are described as white and are thought to be in their late 30s or early 40s.

Suspect one was described as being of big build and wearing a white T-shirt, and suspect two was described as being of a slimmer build and wearing a blue T-shirt.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

Detective Constable Francesca Bruni, leading the investigation, said: “This was a violent unprovoked assault on the victim who was left shaken after the incident.

“To assist the investigation, we are keen to identify and speak to the two men in the CCTV stills. If you recognise either or both of these men, please get in touch.”

If you have any information, please call Bromley CID on 020 8284 8811 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
