From Monday September 3 - Sunday September 9, residents across the borough and north west Kent are being encouraged to explore the huge range of global cuisine on offer in the town centre.

A festival brochure has been delivered to thousands of homes in the area containing special festival week offers from participating restaurants. Copies are also available to pick up from Orpington Library.

The week will end with a weekend of free to attend events in Orpington’s Market Square, kicking off with Foodie Friday on September 7.

A range of stalls from Indian to Italian and a popup bar will be complemented by a fabulous line-up of live music and comedy.

On Saturday September 8, the town’s favourite restaurants will prepare their signature dishes live in a demonstration kitchen at Saturday Showcase, whilst a food focused market will offer punters another chance to snap up something tasty.

Sunday Service on September 9 will see a community lunch in the heart of the town centre organised by Churches Together Orpington, in partnership with Orpington 1st.
