Conservative election candidate for Orpington, Jo Johnson, will be opening a new store in the town, tomorrow.

A Julian Charles home store, which sells bed linen, curtains, throws and cushions, will be opening at Walnuts Shopping Centre on Friday, May 19.

Mr Johnson said: “It’s an honour to open this new and exciting store. The centre is a thriving part of Orpington’s community and it’s always nice to see new businesses coming into the town. I’m sure Julian Charles will be a popular addition for local shoppers.”

Store manager, Catherine Whitehead, added: “We are really looking forward to introducing the store to the people of Orpington. It’s in a greta location and we’re anticipating a busy opening weekend.”

On opening day, offers for shoppers include a £5 discount off any £40 spend, as well as the opportunity to win a king size duvet set and cushions worth more than £100.
