Opera star to sing at Sydenham hospice on Saturday

Opera singer Sir Thomas Allen is due to perform at St Christopher’s Hospice, in Lawrie Park Road, Sydenham on Saturday from 7.30pm.

Tickets are £12.50 and available by calling 020 8768 4500.

BBC Radio DJ Chris Evans flew into Biggin Hill Air Field today in a Lancaster Bomber to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dambusters raid.
