AN OLYMPICS roadshow about job opportunities during the 2012 Games, will tour London this year.

The Get Set London Roadshow will visit all London boroughs between January and April, stopping in Bromley next Tuesday

Organised by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), London 2012, the Mayor of London and the London Development Agency, the roadshow is designed to give residents information about job and skills opportunities. They have pledged to get 70,000 Londoners into work by 2012.

A temporary pod will be set up in The Glades, Bromley providing interactive sporting equipment and information.

A roadshow is also expected to visit Woolwich Town Centre on February 23, Downham Health and Leisure Centre in Moorside Road on February 24.

David Hughes, the LSC's Regional Director for London said: "The Roadshow will provide Londoners with the opportunity to find out about the exciting range of courses and training available to them in their area.

"We see London 2012 as an opportunity to raise skills levels and aspirations across London.
