A MEMORIAL service for an aspiring actor who was stabbed to death outside a bar was held yesterday.

Friends and family of Rob Knox, 18, attended a private funeral at Eltham Crematorium before going to a memorial service at St John the Evangelist, Sidcup, at 3pm.

The drama student was killed outside the Metro Bar, in Station Road, Sidcup, on May 24.

Parents Sally and Colin, of Maidstone Road, Sidcup, asked mourners to dress in bright colours, one of the fallen teen's wishes. They have set up a memorial fund at Barclays Bank in Sidcup. Cheques for the fund should be made payable to Rob Knox Memorial Fund.
