MODEL railway enthusiasts are thrilled that their annual show is moving to a bigger venue.

The Bromley Model Railway Show 2008 is now to be held at Bromley council's Education Centre, in Christchurch Lane, Princes Plain, Bromley Common.

Visitors to this year's event will be able to admire a Gresley Beat layout, which has engines pulling trains more than 100 wagons long while children can try driving the Hornby Thomas engine.

Exhibition manager David Keeble said: "The new venue is great and will let us display a wider range of bigger, detailed layouts and a lot more stands."

This year's event runs from June 28 to June 29, from 10am to 5pm.
