Man killed in four vehicle collision on M25 near Orpington exit

A man died in a collision involving three cars and a lorry on the M25 this morning, between junctions four and five.

Kent police were called at around 10.15am to the clockwise carriageway where the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman was flown to a London hospital and remains in a serious but stable condition.

The driver of the lorry, a man, has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) officers attended the scene and the carriageway is expected to stay closed until around 5pm this evening.

Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to call the SCIU appeal line on 01622 798 538.
