The fire started in the early hours of this morning

More than 20 firefighters were called into action this morning (Monday) after a fire broke out in Bromley.

A blaze at a block of flats in Magpie Hall Lane damaged part of a maisonette’s ground floor and first floor.

The fire started just after midnight, and crews had brought it under control by 1am.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
