Hayes Village Association says thanks for Jubilee clock

A residents’ committee has issued a thank you to the community for contributions towards a clock commemorating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The Hayes Village Association Diamond Jubilee Clock Committee have acknowledged efforts ranging from personal donations to fundraising quiz nights, coffee mornings and nail painting.

About £2,000 is still needed for the clock to be installed in Station Approach.

The committee also thanked Hayes Electronics, Station Approach for acting as a collection point for all donations which can be made until August 31.

Cheques should be made out to Hayes Village Association and marked with the word ‘clock’ on the reverse.
