Former students at a Bromley second school are being invited back as part of a nationwide initiative.

Hayes School first opened in 1956, and has joined forces with education charity Future First in a call to bring back past pupils.

“If students see people like them have succeeded, they are more likely to believe they can too” explained chair of Future First, Christine Gilbert.

She continued: “They work harder and have higher expectations of success. We want more schools to see the benefits of using their alumni as a powerful resource.”

Stephen Whittle is principal at the academy, and is waiting to hear from former students.

The school is keen to speak to any former students, whether they still live nearby or have moved further away.

Alumni can get in touch by email sjw@hayes.bromley.sch.uk.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
