At just 21, Olivia Brandon has experience in Chelsea’s most prestigious salons, but she is now bringing her own brand of luxury to Eynsford village.

She said: “This has been an incredible journey and I have been overwhelmed with support. I would love to thank Built by Design for helping me with my shop transformation. The recent grand opening was a really special night for me.

“The shop was thriving, even the local church came over to support me and sing carols in the shop. The community spirit around here has honestly been so phenomenal.”

And her sister Charlotte added: “Olivia has always dreamed of opening a salon since she began hairdressing – and as soon as she saw the shop she really had her heart set on it. So she sent letters, visited neighbours, knocked on doors, and borderline stalked the owner until she had the opportunity to talk to him and present her business plans.

“She has managed to save, beg and borrow funds to develop what used to be an old flower shop into an amazing luxury salon, but without the massive price tags that come with it for her customers.”

The salon now has real character in emerald greens, vintage bricks walls, rose gold hints throughout, and boasts both unisex hair and beauty services.

Charlotte said: “She has really managed to give it an incredible luxurious touch and keeping in tone with the village that we love.

“She has cleverly used all of
the contacts we all have in our family and friends for different trades, and has a real entrepreneurial flair.

“I have no doubt the shop
will be an incredible success
and we are all so incredibly proud of her.”

She added: “We are such a close family and we are so proud of her. She definitely enhances the community spirit we have in our area, and of course will help inspire other young entrepreneurs set off on their journey.”

Now the grand opening has taken place, Olivia is looking forward to a rosy future.
