A 14-YEAR-OLD girl was attacked in broad daylight as she walked through an alleyway.

The incident happened in the passageway between Kentish Way and St Blaise Avenue, near to the Civic Centre in Bromley on Monday, June 9.

The victim had left the Glades Shopping Centre at 2pm and as she was walking through the alley a man up ahead stopped waiting for her to reach him.

He then asked her to perform a sex act on him whilst touching himself.

The girl refused and continued walking but at this point the attacker grabbed her arm and said: "Go on, there's no-one around, we can do it quickly in here".

She pulled her arm free and tried to walk off but he grabbed her around the hips.

The victim screamed and at this point another man came running up the alleyway to help her while the attacker ran off down the alley, turning left into St Blaise Avenue. Police are now appealing to anyone with information about the attack.

The suspect is Mediterranean looking with medium build, approximately 6ft 3ins tall, with black greasy hair in a mullet style with part pulled back into a pony tail.

He was wearing black jeans and a black and red stripped polo shirt.

He had sunglasses on his head and spoke with what is believed to be a Spanish accent. Detective Constable Emma Harvey said: "We want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time. We are also keen to hear from the man who came to the assistance of this young lady, preventing the incident from escalating any further."

Anyone with any information should contact Detective Constable Emma Harvey at Bromley Police on 020 8284 8859 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
