Full results of Thursday’s election as they happen – will Bob Stewart hold Beckenham for the Conservatives?

Voters have spent Thursday finally making their decision on who will lead the country – and the results are due in the early hours of Friday morning.

The results are as follows:

The candidates are:

Bob Stewart (Con) - 30,632 - ELECTED

Julie Ireland (Lib Dem) - 4,073

Marina Ahmad (Lab) - 15,545

Ruth Fabricant (Green) - 1,380

Turnout: 76%

Results of the 2015 election:

Anuja Prashar (Lib Dem) 6.9%

Bob Stewart (Con) - 57.3% - ELECTED

Marina Ahmad (Lab) - 19.4%

Rob Bryant (Ukip) - 12.5%

Ruth Fabricant (Green) - 3.8%
