FOUR hairdressers have styled their way to the finals of a national industry competition.

Colourists Alice Raith and Kristal Jacovides will join stylists Lynn Jackson, 33, and Aimee Tobin, 21, at the regional finals of the L'Oreal Professional Colour Trophy and the L'Oreal Professional Men's Image Award. All four work at James Aitch hair salon in Beckenham High Street.

Owner James Hallahan, said: "This is the third time we have got through to the regional finals of the men's award but it's a first for the women's trophy.

"I'm very proud of my teams. These are prestigious events in the industry's calendar and you're up against the best talent in the profession."

The four will test their skills against other London regional finalists at the Hilton London Metropole on April 17. The winners from this event go forward to the grand finals at Earls Court on June 2.
