A DRUG dealer was jailed after police found more than £25,000 worth of drugs in his house.

Daniel Doyle, 30, of Horley Road, Mottingham, was handed a five and a half year sentence at Croydon Crown Court on June 16 after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine and ecstasy with intent to supply.

Bromley police busted Doyle's address on April 2 this year after receiving information that drugs were being manufactured and dealt there.

When they searched his home, they found him hanging from the first floor window trying to escape into the neighbour's house.

Police found six bags of cannabis, four large bags of cocaine, three bags containing crack cocaine rocks, a bag of ecstasy, two sets of scales, a list of names and numbers and cash. The ecstasy alone had a street value of £24,700.

Doyle appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court on April 3 and was remanded in custody at HMP Highdown while the case was committed to Croydon Crown Court for trial.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of possessing Class A controlled drug with intent to supply and was sentenced to five and a half years for each of the three offences, to be served concurrently.

Bromley Police's, Sergeant Chris Gatfield, said: "This conviction will have a significant impact in reducing the supply of drugs in the borough of Bromley.
