Police have released this CCTV image of a man they want to question in connection with 37 frauds at Wickes stores across the south east.
It is thought the company has been defrauded out of a total of £9,000 by a man who takes items off the shelf and goes to the till to gain a refund for a product he has not bought.
Among those targeted between August 2011 and January 2012 include the store in Croydon Road, West Wickham, on October 3 2011 and one in Overy Street, Dartford, on November 24 2011.
Investigating officer PC Richard Valder-Davis said: “We are keen to identify this man or anyone who may have information about who is carrying out these frauds.”
