An appeal for information into the rape of a girl in Chislehurst will go national on BBC1’s Crimewatch programme.

The TV show will appeal for information on tonight into the rape of a 15-year-old girl in Chislehurst.

The attack happened in the early hours of July 10 last year as the teenager was walking home along Chislehurst Road.

The suspect asked for directions to Sundridge Park. The girl walked on but shortly after she was approached from behind by someone in Prince Imperial Road at the junction with Wilderness Road before being dragged into nearby bushes.

Her attacker is described as being in of medium build, in his 20s and 6ft tall. He was wearing a long-sleeved plain navy blue top and beige chinos. He had a London accent and drove what is believed to be a dark blue Chevrolet Cruze saloon car.

An e-fit of the attacker was produced from the victim’s memories.
