A decision was expected next week

Residents across the borough will have to wait until next month to find out if their council tax will rise.

Last week Bromley council’s executive met to discuss its budget for the coming year.

The meeting, which took place last Thursday, included mention of raising the borough’s council tax by 1.99 per cent,

The hike in council tax, along with the rest of the budget was set to be approved at a meeting of the council on February 20.

But due to a delay in assuring the Department for Local Government’s financial settlement for the year ahead, the meeting has been postponed until March 1.

Should the figure match the council’s estimates, the borough will face a 1.99 council tax hike along with a two per cent rise in the adult social care precept.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
