The group walked slowly and steadily in the sun on Saturday July 22, from one side of Beckenham Place Park to the other side in Lewisham.

Bromley 3 Faiths Group had organised the walk as part of their aim to bring about friendship and a greater understanding between the three Abrahamic faiths: Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and walkers arrived at their destination to donations of tea and cake from both participants and well-wishers.

The group also support and help the Lewisham Refugee Project, which was present at the event through Lewisham Council representative Kevin Bonavia, who takes an interest in refugees, as well as some Syrian refugees themselves.

To find out more about the group’s next event is asked to ring Steve on 02084606220.
